NAIA Region XII Baseball Championship This Week at Hunter Wright Stadium

Baseball action heats up in Kingsport! The Kingsport Convention and Visitors Bureau continues the summer of baseball with the NAIA Region XII College Baseball Championship.  The championship begins May 7th at Hunter Wright Stadium.

The top two teams from the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (KIAC) and the top four teams from the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) will battle for the NAIA Regional Championship in Kingsport.  The champion will advance to Super Regional play with a chance to go to the NAIA World Series.  Schools competing in this year’s tournament: Indiana University Southeast and Brescia College from the KIAC, and Tennessee Wesleyan, Union College, UVA-Wise and King College from the AAC. Bluegrass on Broad Begins This Friday in Downtown Kingsport
